This itinerary takes you from outstanding wildlife areas to the tropical white sandy beaches of Zanzibar. Explore three famous parks in northern Tanzania, like the beautiful Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to almost 30,000 animals, including the Big 5. Or Tarangire National Park: the kingdom of elephants, birds and baobabs. Four of the Big 5 reside within this lovely park (only no rhinos). Enjoy a village walk in Mto wa Mbu where you can see the traditional way of life of the villagers and interact with them. From the north of Tanzania, you travel to the exotic island Zanzibar where you can wash off your safari dust with a dip in the Indian Ocean and enjoy laid-back beach life.
Day 1; Arrival & Warm Welcoming In Arusha.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the Hotel in Arusha. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper in the morning. If time allows, a complimentary town tour to explore Arusha town and visit a local market can be arranged.

Day 2; Full Day at Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, you drive to tarangire where your safari starts. This lovely park has the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National park is packed with wildlife. Big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx, and Gerenuk. If you are lucky you can even spot the tree-climbing python. The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, as well as predators who prey upon them. Later in the afternoon, you drive for dinner and overnight to sangaiwe a peaceful setting with great views over Lake Burunge.

Day 3; Full Day – Lake Manyara National Park – Village Walk.
Today starts, after breakfast, with a walking tour in farming town Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colorful mix of languages and customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local beer factory, a school, and a carving factory. Discover the traditional way of life of the villagers. Continue to Lake Manyara National park which is only a few minute’s drives from Mto wa Mbu. Lake Manyara is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingos, a large population of baboons, incredible birdlife, and breathtaking views. You can see giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and if you are lucky you spot a tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon, you will continue to Eileen’s trees inn for dinner and overnight

Day 4; Full Day – Ngorongoro Crater – African Life Experience
Discover today one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, called the Ngorongoro Crater It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big 5. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and a small population of the rare black rhino. In the late afternoon, you visit a traditional Maasai village to get an insight into the lifestyle of these graceful warriors. After an exhilarating day on safari, you will return to Eileen’s trees inn for dinner. This being an African day experience, today you will have the opportunity to taste African dishes. After dinner, you will visit Karatu town to experience African life in a nightclub where you will interact with the local people and dance to the African “Bongo flavor” music and try the local “Kilimanjaro” beer Overnight will be at Eileen’s trees inn.

Day 5; Depart - Arrival at Zanzibar Unforgettable beach.
In the morning your driver transfers you to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, you head off to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Royal Zanzibarfor dinner and overnight. This hotel lies in Nungwi, a lovely fishing village in the north of Zanzibar, which offers one of the best beaches on the island.

Day 6; Stone Town & Visit Spice Plantation Farm After breakfast you will drive a short drive for a guided tour of Stone Town. Your guide will introduce you to all the buildings of interest and famous viewpoints, stone town, and its buildings are full of history and stories of the old times of Zanzibar, during the Sultans (Arabs), Europeans, and Missionaries. After the Island trip, you will be transferred to Spice Plantation Center for a Private Swahili Lunch. After lunch you will take a tour of one of Zanzibar’s Spice Farms is a must-do on the island. During a walking tour through the farm, guests will be shown and explained each and every spice one can find in Zanzibar. After being fully packed with knowledge, our guests get time to buy spices, soaps, and crèmes which are all handmade by the community within the farm, and can enjoy a traditional weaving class. Nowadays the plantations are a tribute to the island’s colonial past. This is an excellent chance to learn about the turbulent history of the island. Depending on the season, you can find anything from vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, lemon grass, cloves, ylang-ylang, cumin, garlic, ginger, coriander, pepper, allspice, tamarind, chili, and oregano.

Day 7; Relax On the Paradise. Enjoy laid-back beach life on this tropical island. You can spend the entire day at the beach since the beaches in this northern part of the island are not as tidal. The village has a nature reserve for turtles where you can feed the turtles and even swim with them. The hotel also organizes activities like a village walk, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet-skiing, and fishing that you can book and pay for directly. Dinner and overnight will be at Royal Zanzibar. lunch at the spice farm.

Day 8; Departure from the Hotel After breakfast or lunch,
you will depart from the hotel for the drive to Zanzibar Airport for your International flights back.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing to us at least a month prior to the date of arrival of the client. We levy the following cancellation charges.
» 10% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 30 days prior
» 25% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 15 days prior
» 50% of the total amount if the booking is cancelled 07 days prior
» 100% cancellation in case of no show
All hotel reservation require reconfirmation by the agent / customer at least a one week prior to the date of check in failing which hotels reserve the right to levy at least one night retention which is payable by the customer making reservation through us Villicon Tours & Travel Ltd. do not take any responsibility to make any refund on deposit to the clients until the same has been received by us from the hotel/s. If payment of the tour is through Credit Card charge then the contract is irrevocable. If there is any complaint regarding services it should be communicated to Villicon Tours & Travel Ltd. while the tour is still on. Refund, if any, will be made in TZS only in Zanzibar before the departure at the end of the tour, as per the conversion rate prevailing at the time of refund. In case of any legal dispute the Jurisdiction will be stone City, Zanzibar.
Refunds for unused services or shortening of tour due to genuine reason will be executed within 20 days of your returning to your home Country.
